Today we had a really cool experience. We made it to Camp Nou Stadium, the largest stadium in Europe, to see FC Barcelona play a fútbol match with Liga rivals Valladolid. I had a really great time and was definitely glad we got there early to take some pics before the game started.

Today we took another day trip down to Tarragona - the ancient Roman capital of Hispania. Leaving from Passeig de Graçia station, it’s about an hour by train south of Barcelona, and definitely well worth the trip. This city is a beautiful historical gem, only an hour away.

After all the walking we’ve done the past few days, we felt like we have seen most of the city and now we just need to get from Point A to Point B quickly. The way to do that — buy a metro pass.

Today involved pretty much the most walking I think I have ever done in my entire life. We spent a good part of the day exploring around Montjuïc and the many sites near there.

We actually got some sleep last night, so that was great! We started out the day having breakfast at our hotel, which we think we have to pay for whether we eat it or not, because of the new package we got for the room with the balcony. Anyway, the breakfast was fine and filled us up, so we started our journey exploring L’ Eixample.

Alright, so I never subscribe to conspiracy theories, but I do enjoy learning about them. Occasionally on my way to work, I catch the tail end of the broadcast of Coast to Coast AM for sheer entertainment value (sometimes there are some great characters on the show!).
